Books – we have course textbooks, a wide selection of non-fiction titles, a good range of fiction reading and a reference section with fact files and statistical data.  You may borrow up to 8 items and the normal borrowing period is 3 weeks.  Certain items have restricted loan periods of overnight, 3 days or one week.

DVDs/Videos are available to borrow free of charge to students.

Journals/Newspapers - we subscribe to a wide range of journals and daily newspapers.

Cross-site loans can be arranged within 24 hours and loans from the British Library can also be arranged for items not available locally.  We also have close links with Stockport Library Service and can arrange for you to access their facilities and information sources.

Computers are available to access the curriculum network (with Microsoft Office applications), the Internet, and Moodle (the college Virtual Learning Environment).   We also subscribe to an excellent choice of online subject specific resources which are accessible from the VLE. 

Please note you must have your college ID card to use LRC services.
