Cheadle & Marple Sixth Form College is one of the largest and most successful specialist Sixth Form Colleges in the country. With modern campuses in Cheadle and Marple, Stockport, the College offers a wide range of academic, vocational and work-based courses for school leavers of all abilities and ambitions.

Students are respected and treated as individuals within an open, friendly and adult learning environment with hundreds annually progressing to successful careers and universities all over the UK and abroad.
The College also offers a vibrant programme for adult learners of all ages and shares the national vision to help enable people to improve their employment and career prospects. The breadth of occupational training on offer, for example, includes Apprenticeships, Train to Gain, NVQs and range of short courses.
The full and part-time courses for adults in the wider community include ACCESS (an alternative route to university for those with few qualifications) and accredited options in Gardening & Horticulture, Fashion, Counselling, Languages, Basic Skills and ICT. A wide variety of general interest and leisure courses is also available.

The College has recently been awarded the Matrix Standard for its Information, Advice and Guidance services and been successful in it's bid to become a National Skills Academy for the provision of Sports Development and Leisure Operations. The College is also awaiting confirmation of it's bid to achieve the 'Training Quality Standard' - an assessment framework designed to recognise and celebrate the best delivery of training and development solutions.
